What we do

A small practice on purpose. We take on a limited number of clients each season so every return gets a second look before it is filed.

Individual tax returns

Federal and Arizona returns for W-2 earners, families, retirees and people with rental income.

Small business returns

Schedule C, S corporation and partnership returns for owners with up to about 20 employees.

Monthly bookkeeping

Reconciled books in QuickBooks Online or Xero, with a short report you can read in five minutes.

Quarterly estimates

If you are self-employed, we work out your estimated payments each quarter so April holds no surprises.

IRS and ADOR letters

Got a notice? Send us a photo. We explain what it means, what it asks for and what happens next.

Catch-up work

Behind on your books or missing a year of returns? We get you current, one year at a time.

How it works

  1. Book an intro call. Twenty minutes to see if we are a fit and what you need.
  2. Upload your documents. Everything goes into a secure portal. No shoeboxes, no email attachments.
  3. Review before we file. We walk you through your return and answer every question before anything is submitted.

What to bring

  • Last year's return
  • W-2s and any 1099s
  • Form 1098 if you have a mortgage
  • Childcare and education receipts
  • For a business: income, expenses and mileage for the year

Bookkeeping plans

Clean books make tax season short. Both plans include a monthly close and a year-end package ready for your return.

Starter

$250 a month

Up to two bank and card accounts, monthly reconciliation and a one-page report.

Growing

$450 a month

Up to six accounts, payroll entries, sales tax tracking and a quarterly review call.

Questions clients ask

When should I start on my taxes?

As soon as your forms arrive, usually by early February. Starting early leaves time to find what you are missing before the April deadline.

I got a letter from the IRS. Should I worry?

Most letters ask for information or explain a change. Do not ignore it, and do not panic. Send it to us and we will tell you what it means.

Do you work with self-employed people?

Yes. Freelancers, contractors and side businesses are a big part of our practice, including quarterly estimates.

Can you help if I am years behind?

Yes. We start with the most recent year and work back, so you are current as quickly as possible.

Are you open after April?

All year. Summer is when we clean up books, plan estimates and answer letters without the rush.
